Misbah Ul Haq will Receive Test Mace by ICC on 21 September 2016
Pakistan test Cricket team skipper MIsbah Ul Haq will receive the Test mace from International Cricket Council on 21st September 2016.
The mace will be awarded to Pakistani captain for world number one test cricket team in ICC ranking and this is for the first time in Pakistan cricket history that any Pakistani captain will recieve this award.
Pakistan team reached to number one in test cricket after brilliant performance in test series against England. They left the cricket enemy India at number 2 in ICC ranking.
Pakistan is at the top with 111 points and India is just one point behind at 110 points. Australia and England are at 3rd position with 108 points each.
Pakistan accomplished number-one Test positioning interestingly since the present rankings framework was presented in 2003 after it played a two-all draw against England. Pakistan's cause was likewise helped by Sri Lanka, which vanquished Australia by 3-0.
The mace was delivered by the then British Crown Jeweler, Asprey and Garrard, in 2001, which was authorized to make a particular prize intended to emerge from other cricket trophies. This is great Honor for Misbah to receive this award by ICC Chied David Richardson.
