A high-level security meeting to discuss the Progress of Security Situation in the country, Zarb-e-Azb and its hurdles was held at the General Headquarters. During this Very Important meeting principal staff officers, Director General ISI Rizwan Akhtar and Rawalpindi Core Commander were also Present. All the Staff stated strongly to ensure the best security situation of the country from all aspects.

During the meeting, the progress on National Action Plan and Operations Zarb-e-Azb was also discussed. General Raheel Sharif said that a lack of progress of ongoing operation of National Action Plan is affecting the result obtained by the Operation Zarb-e-Azb against and terrorists. If National Action plan fails then we will not be able to get the desired results and the terrorist activities will continue.
Army Chief Raheel Sharif also highlighted point that some inappropriate statements and discussions by some circles are doing a great damage to the national cause. Ary chief also stated that such remarks are tantamount to incitement to undermine national efforts.
Lack of advancement on National Action Plan (NAP) harming for the advancement of progressing military operation Zarb-e-Azb, an announcement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.

National Action Plan (NAP) is key to accomplishments of our goals and its absence of advancement is influencing the union period of operation Zarb-e-Azb,” General Raheel was cited as saying while managing an Important state security meeting at General Headquarters. The meeting was called to discuss the advancement of both NAP and Operation Zarb-e-Azb.

Armed force Chief repeated to eliminate terrorism from Pakistan and encouraged every one of the establishments to guarantee end of this threat from the nation with their active participation and coordination.

“I salute the general population of Pakistan, all security forces and Intelligence Agencies for their resolute endeavors and yields to achieve peace and steadiness,” he was cited as saying. We have made some amazing progress in battling this war so far and switching the tide towards disposing of this scourge dirt from our Country. The entire country has been supporting the Armed Forces.
